MUMMY TIME
THE 7th Grade Mummified 6 of their own today...
It was not a pretty sight....
But it had to be done!!
We opted not to use a hook up the nose
to scramble the brains and pull them out.
While some of the mummies were easy to wrap...
Others seemed to be more difficult...

THE 6th GRADE HITS THE TRAIL!!
The English Exam was over & it was time to head West...
Well, sort of North & West of the School...
in the general direction of Oregon...
We found a good spot to rest awhile...
And the school marm made camp...
Time for a little swig of sarsaparilla or maybe root beer...
to quench the thirst...
A hearty Pioneer Group....
some look pretty authentic
(though I found out later, my dress was on backwards!)
time for lunch- jerky, home-made butter
and sweet bread...
no hard tack for this group!
Then it was time for some relaxation...
While the girls played some games...
And made some fun button toys...
Mrs. Waring led the boys in a good game of crack the whip...
Wait....that's not our boys----these are--
Then it was time for Noah
to pull out the guitar for a few songs...
Home on the Range...
I'm Going to Leave Old Texas...
And then to end our journey...
Happy Trails to You...
Until We Meet Again....
Thank you Mrs. Waring for your great help!!
